RouteWare's MapServer based demo

Short project description

The purpose of this project is to demonstrate features of the Route Ware’s Net Server. The application is based on the open-source cartographical product mapserver using php/mapscript combination. Access is given through the web-interface from any browser. Server part works under Apache or IIS web servers. Demonstrational examples allow producing different types of cartographical calculations. For example, route optimization for traveling salesman and showing path on the map (demo3), or showing isochrones/isodistances for some nodes (demo5), etc.

The sample data is TIGER/ Line from US, Connecticut state with app. 190.000 street sections.

Short project description

The purpose of this project is to demonstrate features of the Route Ware’s RW NetServer (http://routeware.dk/rwnetserver/rwnetserver.php). The application is based on the MapXtreme - MapInfo's (http://www.mapinfo.com) powerful Internet mapping server for Windows®. Using web-interface user can initiate server-side maps generating. Generated maps are accessed through the MapInfo's Java applet or are rendering to the browser as images. Server part works under IIS web server. Demonstrative examples allow producing different types of cartographical calculations. For example, routing using weight restriction (demo1), route optimization for traveling salesman and showing path on the map (demo3) or showing isochrones/isodistances for some nodes (demo5), etc.

The data is TIGER/Line 2002 (USA) from the area around Norwich and New London in Connecticut.

GPS Circle

Short project description

GPS Circle is a software solution designed to track company employees: their position and/or business activities. It is built up with such key components:

• GPSAgent — a remote Java module that runs on cellular phone. This component collects GPS data and other business activities made by handset owner. Once data is collected, GPSAgent transports them to the online storage to use in other system components;
• GPS-Web — a number of Internet services that allow receiving data from GPSAgent, maintain accounts and billings, and navigate maps using collected data. It also provides API with access to collected data for external systems.

The data is TIGER/Line 2002 (USA) from the area around Norwich and New London in Connecticut.
